About Me
| Groovy Tunes and Jammin Blues is what Smiles Project is all about. Led by J. Smiles, He picked up the guitar at the age of 8 and never put it down. This cat sings about love, surfing, and just plain old maxing and relaxing. Funky blues, Jazzy grooves, and reggae tunes is what Smiles is all about. Backed by his best boys from back in the day on the block, both Joey Croce and Gary Jackson have been jamming behind J since day one. Growing up in the neighborhood together going all the way back to grade school, these three were always making music together.This triforce of positive vibrations and energy have grooves like no other. They all came togehter and created the next, new generation of music. A totally New Sound, New Scene, New Stylee. Released by Sand & Sun Records, Smiles Project proudly presents "Offshore Stylee" Their first full lenght record ready to be shared with all of you. The Record,Co Produced by Philadelphia's legendary Chuck Treece who is also featured on track 8 "Breakdown" and Tre Hardson formally of The Pharcyde on track 5 "Holding it down".
