Garrett N. is a solo artist, composer, performer, and producer. "Instrumentals and Oddities" is his debut album release, and self produced. The pieces on the album range from short musical atmospheres and loops well suited for film scores, to longer, more propulsive pieces of progressive rock and jazz funk grooves. Aside from the current release, Garrett is interested in film and TV music, and has already gotten a start in providing the incidental music in the science fiction trilogy "Explode", released from fantom films, starring Nicholas Young (of the Tomorrow People), directed by Dexter O'Neill, and written by Jackie Clark. Musical influences include Lalo Schifrin, the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, Robert Fripp, George Benson, funk, and early Pink Floyd. In fact, he contributed to the Pink Floyd tribute album "None of us is Pink", released by Neptunepinkfloyd.co.uk.
